People of mulatto ancestry/heritage.
Please Note: The creation of this thread isn't to imply what one should call themselves, or opposes what the following people identify as racially/culturally. The thread's intent isn't to push a racial identity on anyone, we're all free to chose that for ourselves; the thread recognizes mulatto ancestry/heritage within the scope of one's total ancestry/heritage. The thread isn't meant to claim, unclaim or not claim anyone as being part of the Mulatto Race and cultural identity .
Again, the implication isn't that having mulatto ancestry means that a person currently identifies, should identify, or is a racial Mulatto.

Shari and I think David Belafonte(not sure about David) but I know for sure Shari's mother is black. Harry Belafonte was married to a black women before he married his current wife who is Native-American and they had Gina.
And Whoopie Goldberg's daughter is all black, her father was very fair-skinned I read an article he wrote about Whoopie years ago and he is a black man.
Prince's mother was a mulatto she was not Italian. I think people are confused because his mother was portrayed as Italian in the movie Purple Rain. But in real life she was mulatto. I read it in an unauthorized biography and I have seen pictures of both of his parents.(I am a big Prince fan so I know) Just thought I'd let you know.

Also Rihanna's mother is from Guyana she is not afro-bajan.

Melolita and Punta, thank you for your input. much of this info was scraped from other sites that list people of mixed ancestry, or provided by other board members, and not researched thoroughly. When the new site is launched we will be more meticulous and considerate in the information we provide, which includes citing all sources.
