I'm an audit manager for a global bio-tech laboratory. I'm based at the Corporate office in Northern California but I travel all over Europe and Asia for work. |

Reply with quote | #47 | I am the overnight staff at a retirement home. I basically prep the dining room and kitchen for breakfast then wait for an emergency of some sort, or keep Alzheimer's or dementia sufferers from wandering outside the building. Then I help the residents get seated and get their beverages at breakfast time. It's easy most days, very challenging on other days. At any moment I could end up acting as a friend, confidant, therapist, mediator or lifesaver. Very rewarding work. I'm also an anthropology graduate student.

Reply with quote | #49 | In two weeks, I will be an unemployed JD.
While I will still be sending out the CV and resumes, I will be reverting back to my original (way-back-when, putting-myself-through-undergrad) profession: Artist.
I start decorative painting on the interior of a high-end home... I'll be painting leaves all over an entrance way.....
Life is a never ending series of strange occurrences!
